Attending Applied Net is an amazing experience, and finding the right place to stay in DC is a big part of making the most of it. Whether you want to be steps from the action at our host property, the Gaylord National Resort, or across the river in historic Old Town Alexandria, there’s an option to fit your style and budget.
The Applied Net room block is still open at a few Old Town Alexandria hotels – marked with an asterisk (*) below – so book those now if you want the group rate. The room block has closed at our other overflow properties, which means the exclusive group rates and booking links are no longer available at those hotels. Rooms may still be open there at standard rates, so it’s worth checking with the hotels directly.

Transportation
Airlines
There are three major airports in the Washington, DC region: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is the closest to our host property and the one we recommend flying into. To make your travel more convenient and affordable, select providers offer discounts on airfare and rental cars to Applied Net attendees.
Shuttle Service
Our complimentary shuttle service runs between the overflow hotels and the Gaylord National, Monday through Thursday, with added transportation to and from our Tuesday and Wednesday night events. Service is split across four color-coded routes – Red, Blue, Yellow and Green – with each hotel assigned to one route. Check which route serves your hotel and look for its sign in the shuttle before boarding.
